House rules
No smoking. No pets, including short visits. Saturday check-in and Saturday checkout. Children must not ride the elevator unattended or play in or around it. Do not use the elevator if its gates or locking system malfunction, or if it makes unusual sounds or moves abnormally; do not attempt repairs. Guests must supply paper products, trash bags and soaps beyond the limited arrival starter supplies.
Getting there
Accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicle only, approximately 8.0 miles up the beach. Carova Beach has no roads, restaurants or shops. The oceanfront home has a private beach walkway without steps. An elevator is available, but its dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to be ADA compliant, and steps or thresholds may be required to access it.
