## About the house

Canvas & Orchids Retreat offers floating tented villas and island tented accommodation. Its restaurant serves Khmer and international dishes, including Fish Amok and fried seafood with green Kampot peppercorns. Activities include river cruises, boat safaris, Tatai Waterfall excursions, kayaking, paddle boarding, mangrove exploration, guided nature walks, wildlife spotting and cultural village visits. The retreat describes its approach as including renewable energy, responsible resource use and community partnerships.

Guests arrive by road to Tatai, followed by a boat transfer directly to the retreat. Island family tents are 15–20 steps from the riverbank and have a river view.

Island family tents accommodate two adults and three children. In family tents, children stay free. Children are additional persons in floating tents; children receive a 30% accommodation discount there, and food is discounted by 30% for children under 12. A compulsory festive dinner is served on December 24 and December 31.
