## About the house

The three lavvus are similarly furnished, each with a double bed, fireplace, seating area, electricity, coffee machine, kettle and tea, terrace, and its own bathroom in the nearby service building. Shared facilities include a kitchen, three bathrooms, Flåderhytta gathering areas, a waterside bathing area, canoes, SUP boards and a wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub can be booked on arrival or during the stay. The camp is open in summer, from 5 June to 31 August; some May weekends may be available on request.

Kitchen: Yes · Shared, well-equipped kitchen with stove, pots, dishwasher, utensils, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, and a large refrigerator with an individual shelf for each guest group.

Parking: Yes · Parking for three to five cars, with one space reserved per lavvu. Guests can drive directly to the camp; electric-vehicle charging is available.

Pets allowed: Yes · Pets are allowed in Lavvo Bjørk for an extra fee of NOK 350 per stay. Pets are not allowed in Lavvo Furu or Lavvo Eik, which are reserved for guests with allergies.

The camp is near Birkeland, by Flakksvann where the Tovdalselva and Digeelva meet. Birkeland town center is five minutes away; Arendal is a 45-minute drive. Lavvo Bjørk has a view of Flakksvann and is near the bathing area; Lavvo Furu and Lavvo Eik also overlook the water. Lavvo Bjørk and Lavvo Furu are stated to be wheelchair accessible. Families with children under 12 must rent the entire camp.

Check-in is at 15:00 and check-out at 12:00. Earlier check-in or later departure must be arranged with the hosts. Families with children under 12 must rent the entire camp. Up to two extra beds for children can be placed in each lavvu at NOK 450 per bed per night. A baby travel cot is available; there is no extra charge for it if guests bring their own cot bedding. Pets are allowed only in Lavvo Bjørk, for NOK 350 per stay; pets are not allowed in Lavvo Furu or Lavvo Eik. The lavvu rental includes cleaning after departure. Canoe use on Flakksvann is included; a return pickup after paddling down the Tovdalselva is available for NOK 500. Bring your own food and drinks unless otherwise arranged. The wood-fired hot tub can be booked on arrival or during the stay.
