The house

The home has five bedrooms: one with a king bed, one with two single beds, one with two bunk beds, and two with a queen bed each. The master bedroom has an ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and balcony. There are two additional bathrooms. All three bathrooms have a shower, hand basin and toilet; one also has a bath. A ground-floor bedroom is available.

The upstairs open-plan living area has couches, a Smart TV, Wi-Fi and books, with heating and a fireplace. The kitchen includes a microwave, fridge-freezer, hobs, oven and dishwasher, alongside a formal dining table. Laundry facilities include a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

A north-facing tiled balcony has outdoor seating and views over Havelock North and the Heretaunga Plains. There is a private courtyard off the kitchen, a lawn, outdoor table and chairs, and a barbecue. Parking includes off-road and roadside options, a private driveway and use of one space in the internal-access garage.

The town centre's shops, cafés and restaurants are within walking distance, with wineries and vineyards in the surrounding area. Linen service supplies sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels. Pillows and duvets are provided, beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure.

The bunks are standard single length but were designed for children and have limited headroom for adults.
