## About the house

Buhaug is a cabin in Sjusjøen at approximately 900 metres above sea level. Lillehammer is 20 km away and Hafjell is 30 km away. Cross-country ski trails are often directly outside, or 250 metres away at Sjusjøen Cross-Country Stadium and the Birkebeiner trail. The cabin has a living room with seating, a dining area and a wood-burning stove, plus a kitchen with a refrigerator, hotplates, oven, coffee maker, waffle iron and kettle. A separate wood-fired sauna house was built outside in 2024. The cabin has approximately 80 m² of living space plus a 12 m² annex.

The cabin is 250 metres from Sjusjøen Cross-Country Stadium and the Birkebeiner trail, 4 km from Sjusjøen Ski Center, 1.5 km from fishing, 2 km from a grocery store and 20 km from Lillehammer. Cross-country ski trails and a hiking area may be 10 metres away. Parking is for two cars, with a 30-metre walk to the cabin. In winter, the path may need to be cleared on arrival. An electric vehicle may be charged using an extension cord from an outlet on the cabin wall; there is no dedicated EV charger.

Guests must complete final cleaning before departure and bring their own bed linen and towels. Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not allowed. Electricity, pillows, duvets and firewood are included; bed linen and towels and final cleaning are not included.
