The house

Built in 1929 and remodeled over time, the home has koa wood floors, custom millwork, vaulted beam ceilings and large ocean-facing picture windows with views toward Koko Head. The great room includes a sunken living area and an adjacent indoor dining space opening to the garden lanai. Two outdoor dining areas each seat eight: one on the oceanfront deck and one in the private lava rock garden with mature tropical landscaping and shaded seating.

The kitchen has generous counter space, wood cabinetry, a refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and dishes and utensils. A BBQ is also available. The oceanfront deck has lounge seating and overlooks the community sea pool and coastline. A private pathway leads through naupaka to the water’s edge. The property has over 200 linear feet of coastline frontage.

The primary bedroom and Guest Bedrooms 2 and 4 each have a king bed, ensuite bathroom and private lanai with outdoor access. Guest Bedroom 3 has a queen sofa bed. The primary bedroom and Guest Bedroom 2 have central air conditioning; Guest Bedrooms 3 and 4 have split air conditioning. All four have blackout drapes. The primary bedroom and Guest Bedrooms 3 and 4 have ocean, garden and mountain views; Guest Bedroom 2 has partial ocean and garden views.

The primary bedroom also has water views and a ceiling fan. The primary bedroom and Guest Bedrooms 2 and 4 have space for a crib or pack and play. A separate guest full bathroom completes the four bathrooms; two renovated bathrooms have Toto-style toilets.

Facilities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, ceiling fans throughout, a private garage and additional free parking, beach towels, linens, a smart TV and printer/scanner/fax. The home has a private entrance, smart-lock and keypad entry, a safe, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and smoke detector. Guests have gated access to the shared Black Point sea pool with direct water entry. The entire home is reserved solely for the renter during the rental period.
