The hotel is in a hillside setting above Idar-Oberstein. The nearest bus stop is approximately a 10–15-minute walk away, and the route to the hotel is uphill. The Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is directly beside the hotel, and hiking trails start at the hotel. With luggage, a car or taxi is recommended.
