The house

The open-plan lounge and dining area has split-system air conditioning, a leather lounge suite, flat-screen TV, DVD player, sound system and dining setting. It opens onto a furnished balcony overlooking the bay. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes and silverware. Heating and an iron are also provided.

The main bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has one bunk bed, one king single bed and a tower fan. The bathroom contains a shower, vanity and toilet. Towels and linen packs are provided, with hotel-style triple-sheet bedmaking excluding the bunk.

Free undercover parking accommodates one small to medium-sized car. Guests have access to a shared, coin-operated laundry. The apartment is suitable for children aged 2–12 and infants under two.

Shoal Bay Beach is across the road. Shops and places to eat and drink are a 150 m stroll along the foreshore. Tomaree National Park is 600 m away at the eastern end of the bay, with summit views and walking and cycling opportunities nearby. Nelson Bay is a five-minute drive away. Kayak and stand-up paddleboard hire at the beach operates daily during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter.
