House rules
No smoking. No pets. Saturday check-in and checkout. Children must not ride the elevator unattended or play in or around it. Do not enter the elevator hoistway or operate the elevator if its locking system is faulty, it makes unusual sounds or the ride feels abnormal; do not attempt repairs. Gas fireplaces are available January 1–April 25 and October 9–December 31 in 2026, and January 1–April 23 and October 9–December 31 in 2027.
Getting there
The home is oceanfront, just south of the Village of Duck, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and activities. Private beach access is via a walkway and dune deck with steps. Parking is limited to six vehicles. Elevator dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to meet ADA requirements; steps or thresholds may be required for access.
