# Beacon Dunes Corolla, NC, United States (general area) ## About the house Beacon Dunes accommodates up to 16 guests and has six full bathrooms and one half bathroom. The home has hardwood floors, an elevator and four levels. Level 1 contains a bedroom with two double/twin duo bunk sets and a semi-private bathroom, plus a recreation room with a wet bar and refrigerator, access to the hot tub and gated pool, two outdoor showers and a garage. Level 2 has three king ensuites and one queen ensuite, an ocean-facing den, laundry and a deck. The queen ensuite has a standing shower with a handicap-friendly hand-held showerhead. Level 3 has a king ensuite with a double shower and whirlpool tub, a handicap-friendly half bathroom, a great room with gas fireplace and surround sound, a kitchen with two dishwashers and a six-burner professional gas range, a dining room and a sunroom/breakfast room. Level 4 has a ship’s watch with lighthouse views. The home has two refrigerators, central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TV, multiple TVs/DVDs, a pool table, ping pong, a gas grill, a dune deck, outdoor furniture and five beach chairs. Bed linens, bath towels, pillows, blankets, an iron and ironing board, and a washer and dryer are provided. Kitchen equipment includes cookware, dishes, utensils, a blender, microwave, toaster and drip coffee maker. An arcade game, bumper pool and pod coffee maker are additions for 2027. The private outdoor pool has a shallow end and optional heating outside July and August. Beach access is via a private walkway shared with one neighbor to the north. Corolla Light’s shared facilities include oceanfront pools, an indoor pool, a kiddie pool, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, a playground, a recreation center and workout rooms. The indoor sports center is a short drive away. Seasonal trolley service connects to the sports center and soundside amenities. Each guest needs a wristband to use community facilities; the home provides 12 wristbands. The published 2026 extended opening and closing dates are April 24 and October 16. Extending pool dates costs $200 plus tax per week. The home is oceanfront. Its beach walkway is shared with one neighbor to the north; the nearest alternative community access is Franklyn St. North Access. Parking is limited to six vehicles. The indoor sports center is a short drive away, with trolley service available in season only. Community facilities require a wristband for each guest, and 12 wristbands are provided. Elevator dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to be ADA compliant; steps or thresholds may be required for access. No smoking. No pets. Community wristbands are required for every guest using community amenities. Children must not ride the elevator unattended, play in or around it, or stand between the gate and landing door. Never enter the elevator hoistway or use the elevator if its doors, locking system, sounds or movement appear abnormal; do not attempt repairs.
