The house

The home sleeps up to nine guests in four bedrooms. Three bedrooms each have a queen bed; the fourth has a bunk bed with a double below and a single above. The bunk's thinner mattresses make it more suitable for children. One bathroom has a shower, bath, basin and toilet, and the second has a shower, basin and toilet. A ground-floor bedroom is available.

Large windows and sliding glass doors bring light into the living spaces. The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, fridge-freezer, hobs, oven, coffee machine, toaster and dishwasher. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas, a garden/patio and a barbecue. The living area has a fireplace, Smart TV with streaming-service access, unlimited Wi-Fi and board games.

A washing machine, dryer, iron and outdoor shower are provided, along with off-street parking and a garage. Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels. Pillows and duvets are provided, and beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure.

Ruakākā Beach is a 200-metre stroll away, with swimming and kayaking opportunities at the nearby beach and estuary. Ruakākā Town Centre, with a general store, eateries and other conveniences, is a seven-minute drive away. There is no pool or hot tub.
