Baybu is a 110 m² cabin about 2 km from Geilo centre. It has four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and TV with channels, a bathroom with sauna and a separate toilet. Cross-country ski trails and walking opportunities are 200 m away, and Geilo Ski Centre is 1.5 km away.

The cabin is about 2 km from Geilo centre, 1 km from the nearest grocery store, 200 m from cross-country ski trails and walking opportunities, 1.5 km from the alpine slopes, 1 km from fishing, 100 m from cycle trails and 2 km from golf. The cabin has easy access and no steep winter roads to negotiate.

Up to 8 people are accommodated in the standard bed arrangement; when travelling with children, there is space for up to 11 people according to the bed arrangement. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bed linen and towels must be brought. The cabin is mainly rented to families with children during Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays. Well water may freeze during prolonged cold periods in winter; thawing cables are installed. Final cleaning, electricity, pillows, duvets and firewood are included; bed linen and towels are not.

The cabin uses well water, which may freeze during prolonged cold periods in winter. Thawing cables are installed and can be used to thaw the water.
