The house

The house combines the original beach shack with a newer addition, polished concrete floors, whitewashed floorboards and Hamptons-style furnishings. North-facing kitchen and living spaces overlook the pool.

On the ground floor, the main bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite with a freestanding bathtub, shower and toilet. A second bedroom has a queen bed and ceiling fans. The adjoining TV/sitting room has a double sofa bed and fan. Two additional ground-floor bathrooms have showers and toilets. Upstairs are a queen bedroom and a loft bedroom with a queen bed and single sofa bed, plus a bathroom serving both bedrooms and the living area. The sofa beds are suitable for children.

The fully equipped galley kitchen has a gas stove and oven, dishwasher, family fridge and coffee pod machine, with a dining table seating 12. Three living spaces include a lower lounge with a gas fireplace, an upper lounge and covered deck with a kitchenette, sink and bar fridge, and the smaller ground-floor TV lounge. There are three TVs.

Outdoor facilities include a poolside deck, covered outdoor dining and lounge space, an outdoor shower, a ground-floor patio BBQ and a fully fenced yard. Wi-Fi, air-conditioning in all bedrooms, the kitchen, dining area and upper and lower living rooms, and a laundry with washer and dryer are provided. Household linen and the standard departure clean are included. Off-street parking accommodates two cars, with additional street parking.

Yaroomba Beach is 100 m away, across the road and park. Point Arkwright has a headland picnic area and a foreshore trail following the cliffs north to Coolum, with viewing platforms.
