## About the house

Baglio Scannale occupies three levels within a large park with centuries-old trees, olive groves and a Mediterranean garden. All rooms overlook the surrounding garden.

The ground floor has a small living room with a ping-pong table, a period kitchen, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and two bathrooms, including a service bathroom. Stairs lead to the main living room with sofas, a dining table and a fireplace. The second floor contains two double bedrooms, two single bedrooms and a master bedroom preserving the historic family chapel. The seven beds comprise four queen-size beds and three single beds. The accommodation also includes a bathroom with a shower and another with a bathtub.

The private pool sits behind the garden, surrounded by cypress trees, with an attached changing room and bathroom. It is open from 1 May to 16 October. Wi-Fi, television, fans, an iron and a hairdryer are available. The kitchen includes a coffee machine, oven, dishwasher and fridge.

Palermo airport is approximately 100 km away and Catania airport is 150 km away. Hiring a car at the airport is recommended for guests arriving by plane.

The arrival window begins at 15:00 or 16:00 depending on the destination and ends at 20:00. Late check-in and check-out are available on request, subject to availability. Arrivals after 20:00 may incur an additional charge of €20–€40. A tourist tax may be required on arrival or a few days beforehand; the amount depends on local regulations, with booking-specific information available in the Wonderful Italy Guest Area.
