House rules

Reservations require approval before confirmation. Maximum occupancy is 10. Smoking is not allowed. Pets require owner approval; the dog approval fee is $250 per dog per booking, and approval may also involve a security deposit. Events of any size, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating guest groups require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included. Additional cleanings may be requested at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments are current and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage details. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.

The primary renter must be at least 28 years old.
