The house

The 3,190-square-foot home spans two levels in a pod-style layout. The main living and dining areas have vaulted ceilings and sliding doors opening onto a lanai with outdoor dining, lounge seating, shaded areas and a private solar-heated infinity-edge pool above the lava-rock shoreline. A hot tub and outdoor shower are also available.

The kitchen has koa-wood cabinetry, a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and grinder, kettle, toaster, blender, rice cooker and ice machine. A barbecue is available.

All three bedrooms are upstairs and connected by a covered open-air walkway. The primary bedroom has a king bed, ocean views, a lanai or balcony and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub. The second bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom and ocean views. Air conditioning is limited to the bedrooms; the main level uses ceiling fans, cross breezes and its open layout.

The home has high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, satellite or cable television, a washer and dryer, beach towels, a garden and free parking with a garage. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. The gated community provides shared tennis courts and a heated lap pool. Ali'i Drive beaches, coffee shops and casual dining are a short walk away. Kona Country Club, coastal hiking trails and cultural sites around Hulihe'e Palace are a short drive away.
