A short flight of stairs leads to the open kitchen and living area. The living room has an oversized wraparound couch, a chair and a usable brick fireplace. The eat-in kitchen includes stainless-steel appliances, a refrigerator, pots and pans, and a breakfast bar with four stools. The indoor dining table seats ten. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per reservation night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses and rotating groups of guests require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. In lieu of a standard security deposit, damage protection covers up to $25,000, subject to the booking agreement. Reopening canceled dates is at the owner's discretion; if the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original reservation total is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, the original stay remains usable provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival.
