House rules
No smoking. No pets, including short visits. Check-in and check-out are on Saturdays. Early check-in at 13:00 may be available for $195 plus tax, subject to limited availability and confirmation after booking. Children must not ride the elevator unattended or play in or around it, and must not stand between its gate and landing door. Never enter the elevator hoistway or operate the elevator if its locking system is faulty, unusual sounds occur or the ride is abnormal; do not attempt repairs. The gas fireplace is available January 1–April 25 and October 9–December 31 in 2026, and January 1–April 23 and October 9–December 31 in 2027.
Getting there
The home is oceanside in Buck Island, east of NC 12. Community beach access is available. Shops, restaurants and entertainment in Corolla are a short walk away. Elevator dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to meet ADA requirements; steps or thresholds may be required for access.
