# Admiral's Galley Corolla, NC, United States (general area) ## About the house The home accommodates up to 16 guests and has six ensuite bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. Level 1 contains two bunk bedrooms, a half bathroom and a recreation room with a pool table. Level 2 has three king ensuite bedrooms with deck access; one has handicap-friendly bathroom features. Level 3 has another king ensuite bedroom with deck access, a half bathroom, a great room with a seasonal gas fireplace, a kitchen and a dining room. A ship's watch is on Level 3.5. Outdoor facilities include multiple decks, outdoor furniture, a private outdoor pool, hot tub, gas grill and outdoor shower. Five beach chairs are provided. The elevator serves the upper levels. Central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a wet bar, washer and dryer, bed linens, bath towels, pillows, blankets, and an iron and ironing board are provided. The kitchen includes dishes, utensils, cookware, a dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, and drip and pod coffee makers. Municipal water serves the home. Buck Island is a gated community with an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, a playground, parking and beach access. Shops, restaurants and entertainment in Corolla are a short walk away. Updates for the 2026 season include fresh interior paint and a new great-room couch. The home is oceanside in Buck Island, east of NC 12. Community beach access is available. Shops, restaurants and entertainment in Corolla are a short walk away. Elevator dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to meet ADA requirements; steps or thresholds may be required for access. No smoking. No pets, including short visits. Check-in and check-out are on Saturdays. Early check-in at 13:00 may be available for $195 plus tax, subject to limited availability and confirmation after booking. Children must not ride the elevator unattended or play in or around it, and must not stand between its gate and landing door. Never enter the elevator hoistway or operate the elevator if its locking system is faulty, unusual sounds occur or the ride is abnormal; do not attempt repairs. The gas fireplace is available January 1–April 25 and October 9–December 31 in 2026, and January 1–April 23 and October 9–December 31 in 2027.
