Getting there
A car is recommended. Sandy beaches, seaside trails and Hualalai Trading Company can be reached on foot within the resort. Kailua-Kona town, Kona International Airport, Kua Bay and the Kona Coffee belt are a short drive away. The layout may not be fully suitable for guests requiring wheelchair accessibility. Contact the management team if you wish to arrange delivery of ramps purchased or sent at your own expense. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures are expected for the IRONMAN race on October 9, 2027. Resort access is managed by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion.
