# 5BD Ke Alaula Estate (144) at Hualalai Resort Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States (general area) ## About the house The estate has a gated entry with a koi pond, landscaped grounds designed by Craig Chambers, a private heated infinity-edge pool with a wet deck, a hot tub, a lawn and covered lanais. Two four-seat golf carts are available for travel around the resort. The great room has vaulted wood-inlay ceilings, stone floors, custom cabinetry and full-width pocket doors opening to an outdoor lounge. An indoor dining table seats 10, with another dining area outside beside the pool. The kitchen includes quartzite countertops, stainless appliances, an island breakfast bar, a walk-in pantry and a wine chiller. Appliances include a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, coffee maker and grinder, blender, rice cooker and toaster oven. A barbecue and kitchenette are also available. Five bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom, central air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a Smart TV and space for a crib or Pack and Play. The primary bedroom has an ocean- and fairway-view lanai; Guest Bedroom 3 has ocean views and a balcony or deck; Guest Bedroom 5 also has a balcony or deck. The primary ensuite has indoor and outdoor showers and a Jacuzzi tub; Guest Bedroom 4's ensuite has indoor and outdoor showers. The home includes a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, a Sonos audio system, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella and coolers. Beach-equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Children are welcome, and a Pack and Play is available. The LeRoy Collection at Gather Vacations professionally manages the estate, with pre-arrival planning, on-island support and an orientation upon request during business hours. Property-specific concierge options include grocery shopping, housekeeping, private yoga and personal chefs. Linens, Malie Organics toiletries, detergents and paper supplies are provided. Security cameras on the premises are covered and turned off during stays. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures are expected for the IRONMAN race on October 9, 2027. Resort access is managed by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion. Smoking is not allowed. Hualalai Resort access is optional, charged daily per person, paid directly to the resort and not included in the rental.
