# 4BD Hainoa Estate (102) at Hualalai Resort Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States (general area) ## About the house Redesigned by Henderson Design Group, the home combines Japanese-inspired architecture with indoor-outdoor living. Floor-to-ceiling pocket doors connect the vaulted great room to the lanai, dining and pool areas. There is a dedicated media room, a formal dining table for eight, Smart TVs and Sonos audio. The kitchen has granite countertops, premium appliances, dual sinks, a central island and generous preparation space. Four ensuite bedrooms have individual climate control and lanai access. The primary suite includes a soaking tub, walk-in shower, dual vanity and private lanai with ocean views. The second suite has a private lanai. Guest Bedroom 3 has a walk-in shower, while Guest Bedroom 4, the Ohana Suite, includes a kitchenette and outdoor shower garden. Outside are a garden courtyard and an expansive lanai with a barbecue, dining area and lounge furniture, with year-round sunset views. Two four-seat golf carts are available for guest use. Beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas and towels are provided, along with an in-villa washer and dryer and detergents. Optional paid Hualālai Resort access provides access to resort facilities and services, including golf, the Sports Club and Spa, tennis, cultural activities, pools, ocean activities, beachfront dining and children's programs, subject to registration and resort restrictions. A guided orientation and tour are available on request, with on-island concierge and guest support. Customized services can include a private chef, yoga, grocery delivery and housekeeping. An optional child-safety pool fence is available on request for a fee. High-speed Wi-Fi The home is above the Kona-Kohala coast within Hualālai Resort. A car is recommended but not necessary; two four-seat golf carts are provided for resort exploration. Kua Bay and Makalawena are nearby beaches, and Kailua-Kona dining and shopping are minutes away. Resort access is optional, paid separately and subject to registration and seasonal limitations. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures on October 9, 2027, during IRONMAN may affect driving routes. Non-smoking property; children welcome. A mandatory mid-stay cleaning fee applies to stays of 14 nights or longer. Extra guests require approval and incur fees. Resort access fees are paid directly to Hualālai Resort and are not included in the rental rate. Guests have one opportunity to opt into resort access; the entire household must participate for at least two consecutive days without breaks. During Peak of Peak Season, on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge begin 60 days before resort access starts. A Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November for Festive reservations. During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, residential and rental guests' chaise lounges are on lawns and beaches only, as directed by Pool Operations.
