House rules

Children are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Self check-in/check-out and 24-hour check-in are available. Stays of 14 nights or more require a mid-stay cleaning. Extra guests require approval and incur additional fees. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Hualalai Resort access is optional and requires daily fees paid directly to the resort, separate from the rental. Guests have a one-time opportunity to opt in during the stay; the entire household must participate for at least two consecutive days without breaks. Children aged 4 and under are complimentary. Published fees use the $ symbol. Shoulder Season: adults $80.00 per person per day; children aged 5–13 $40.00 per person per day. Dates: April 4–June 16, August 22–November 18 and November 28–December 17, 2027. Peak Season: adults $125.00 per person per day; children aged 5–13 $63.00 per person per day. Dates: January 4–February 11, February 20–March 11 and June 17–August 21, 2027. Peak of Peak Season: adults $185.00 per person per day; children aged 5–13 $93.00 per person per day. Dates: February 12–19, March 12–April 3 and November 19–27, 2027. Festive Season: adults $250.00 per person per day; children aged 5–13 $125.00 per person per day. Dates: December 18, 2027–January 3, 2028. During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, the booking-window and chaise-lounge policies do not apply. During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge starting 60 days before their resort-access start date. A dedicated Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November for Festive Season reservations. During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests are available only on lawns and beaches, as directed by Pool Operations.

Getting there

A car is recommended. Resort pools, spa, tennis courts, dining outlets, Trading Company general store, coastal paths and beach areas are within walking reach. Kailua-Kona town, local beaches, shopping, groceries, the marina, snorkeling and hiking are a short drive away. Resort access and amenities will be limited November 30–December 5, 2026 for the Chairman’s Club Event and January 16–24, 2027 for the Mitsubishi Golf Tournament; access is managed by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion. Contact Hualalai Resort directly for details. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures are expected during the IRONMAN Race on October 9, 2027; plan travel accordingly.
