# 3BD Ka'Ulu Villa (131C) at Hualalai Resort Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States (general area) ## About the house The villa has 2,414 square feet of interior space and nearly 1,000 square feet of outdoor lanai, with views toward the ocean, Maui and the Kohala Mountains. The great room has vaulted ceilings, bamboo flooring and pocket sliding glass doors opening to the lanai. Indoor and outdoor dining tables each seat six. The private lanai includes a BBQ, lounge seating and a circular daybed. The kitchen has granite countertops, ample cabinetry, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and ice machine. A breakfast balcony sits beyond the kitchen, and a built-in office nook includes a printer and scanner. The lower-level primary suite has an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, dual sinks and an outdoor shower garden, plus a private lanai with circular daybeds. Guest Bedroom 2 is on the lower level and Guest Bedroom 3 is upstairs; each has a private balcony and an adjacent full bathroom. A bonus retreat room can connect to the primary suite and includes a wet bar and large TV. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans run throughout. Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, Smart TVs, linens, a high chair and a complimentary pack-and-play are provided. Beach equipment includes towels, chairs, boogie boards, a cooler and an umbrella. Additional beach equipment rentals carry a charge. One six-seat and one four-seat golf cart are provided for resort travel. Optional paid access to Hualalai Resort includes shared swimming facilities, an 18-hole golf course, tennis, the Sports Club & Spa, ocean activities, beach access, restaurants, cultural activities and children’s programs. The Beach Tree Pool is scheduled to close September 8–November 15 for repairs and enhancements. A car is not necessary; two golf carts are provided for travel around the resort. Hualalai Trading Company, Kua Bay, Makalawena Beach and Kona Town are a short drive away. Beach access is available through the resort’s paid amenities. Resort access is limited during the Chairman’s Club Event, November 30–December 5, 2026, and the Mitsubishi Golf Tournament, January 16–24, 2027; access is controlled by Hualalai Resort and may change. Optional Hualalai Resort access is paid directly to the resort and is not included in the rental rate.
