House rules

Smoking is not allowed. Mandatory mid-stay cleaning and a cleaning fee apply to stays of 14 nights or longer. Extra guests require approval and incur additional fees. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Hualalai Resort access is optional, paid directly to the resort and not included in the rental charge. Guests have one opportunity to opt in during their stay; the entire household must participate for at least two consecutive days without breaks. Daily per-person resort fees are as follows, with children aged four and under complimentary throughout: Shoulder Season: adults $80.00; children aged 5–13 $40.00. Dates: April 4–June 16, August 22–November 18, and November 28–December 17, 2027. Peak Season: adults $125.00; children aged 5–13 $63.00. Dates: January 4–February 11, February 20–March 11, and June 17–August 21, 2027. Peak of Peak Season: adults $185.00; children aged 5–13 $93.00. Dates: February 12–19, March 12–April 3, and November 19–27, 2027. Festive Season: adults $250.00; children aged 5–13 $125.00. Dates: December 18, 2027–January 3, 2028. During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, the booking-window and chaise-lounge restrictions do not apply. During Peak of Peak Season, on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge may begin 60 days before resort access starts. A dedicated Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November for Festive Season reservations. During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, residential and rental guest chaise lounges are restricted to lawns and beaches as directed by Pool Operations. Self check-in and check-out are available, with 24-hour check-in.

Getting there

A car is recommended. Hualalai Trading Company, the coffee shop and deli are within walking distance. Kua Bay, Makalawena Beach and Kailua Kona’s shops and dining are a short drive away. Bedrooms occupy upper and lower levels. Resort access is limited during the Chairman’s Club Event, November 30–December 5, 2026, and the Mitsubishi Golf Tournament, January 16–24, 2027; access is controlled by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion. Contact the resort directly for details. Community repairs may cause periodic daytime construction and machinery noise during standard work hours January 4–February 15, 2027. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures for IRONMAN on October 9, 2027 may affect driving routes; plan travel accordingly.
