# 3BD Ka'Ulu Villa (109A) at Hualalai Resort Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States (general area) ## About the house The villa has 2,577 square feet of interior space and nearly 1,000 square feet of lanais. An October 2024 interior redesign introduced new furnishings and décor. The open-plan great room has vaulted ceilings, a custom sofa and a travertine coffee table; the dining area seats eight. The kitchen includes dual ovens, a Bosch dishwasher, an island with seating, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee-making equipment and a wine fridge. The upper lanai has an outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ, outdoor dining and Pacific views. The lower lanai opens onto tropical landscaping and an outdoor shower garden. The lower-level primary suite has golf course views and an ensuite with a soaking tub, walk-in shower, dual vanity and private outdoor shower garden. The lower-level garden suite has an ensuite with a tub/shower combination and a private lanai. The upper suite has an ensuite with a walk-in shower and private access to a mountain-view lanai. Central air conditioning and ceiling fans serve the villa throughout. Facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, a dedicated media room and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Two four-person golf carts and complimentary beach gear are available, including beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards. A Pack and Play is available. Hualalai Resort is an 865-acre oceanfront community with shared swimming facilities, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course, Golf Hale, Sports Club & Spa, tennis, ocean activities, dining, a cultural center and children's programs. Kua Bay, Makalawena Beach and Kailua Kona shops and dining are a short drive away. A car is recommended. Resort and amenity access will be limited November 30–December 5, 2026 for the Chairman's Club Event and January 16–24, 2027 for the Mitsubishi Golf Tournament. Access is managed by Hualalai Resort and may change; contact the resort directly for details. Kona and Kohala road closures during the IRONMAN Race on October 9, 2027 may affect driving routes; plan travel accordingly. Children are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Stays of 14 nights or longer require a mid-stay cleaning and cleaning fee. Extra guests require approval and incur additional fees. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Resort access is optional, paid directly to Hualalai Resort and not included in the rental. During Peak of Peak Season, on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge may begin 60 days before resort access starts. During Festive Season, a dedicated concierge desk opens in mid-November for on-property reservations. In both seasons, chaise lounges for rental and residential guests are restricted to lawns and beaches as directed by Pool Operations.
