# 3BD Hali'ipua Villa (120) at Hualalai Resort Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States (general area) ## About the house The villa offers over 2,600 sq. ft. of living space with interiors by Monica Ament and ocean, golf course and Mount Hualalai views. The upper-level open-plan living and dining area has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, modern furnishings and pocket doors opening onto a covered lanai. Indoor and outdoor dining each seat six; the lanai also has lounging areas and a built-in BBQ. The kitchen has premium appliances, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, an island, breakfast-bar seating, cookware, tableware and glassware. Equipment includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, blender, rice cooker and wine fridge. All three bedrooms have king beds, ensuite bathrooms, central AC, ceiling fans, HD TVs and lanais. The primary suite includes a workspace, walk-in closet, ocean-view lanai, soaking tub, walk-in shower, dual vanities and an outdoor shower garden. Guest Suite 2 has a garden-view lanai and walk-in shower. Guest Suite 3 has a private lanai, shower and its own outdoor shower garden. The villa includes Sonos whole-home audio, four HD televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens and Malie Organics toiletries. Two four-seat golf carts, boogie boards, snorkel sets, beach chairs and towels are provided. A beach umbrella, cooler and pack and play are also available. The villa has a private entrance within a gated community, with concierge assistance from The LeRoy Collection at Gather Vacations. Optional paid Hualalai Resort access includes shared pools, the Jack Nicklaus-signature 18-hole golf course, Golf Hale, Sports Club & Spa, tennis, Alaka‘i Nalu Ocean Activities, dining outlets, resort-wide charge privileges, Kids For All Seasons, a cultural center and beachfront chaise lounge areas. Resort guest registration is required; access and facilities are subject to resort policies and temporary restrictions. Beach equipment rentals carry an additional charge. The Beach Tree Pool is scheduled to close September 8–November 15 for repairs and enhancements. During the closure, guests with the resort amenities package may use the other resort swimming facilities. High-speed Wi-Fi. A car is recommended. Kua Bay and Makalawena Beach are a short drive away. Two four-seat golf carts are included for resort exploration. Resort access is limited during the Chairman's Club Event, November 30–December 5, 2026, and Mitsubishi Golf Tournament, January 16–24, 2027. Access is managed by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion; contact the resort directly for details. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures during IRONMAN on October 9, 2027 may affect driving routes; plan travel accordingly. Children are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Self check-in and check-out are available. Stays of 14 nights or longer require mid-stay cleaning. An extra guest fee may apply for approved additional guests. Hualalai Resort access is optional and requires daily per-person fees paid directly to the resort after booking, separate from the rental rate. For Festive Season, a dedicated concierge desk opens in mid-November.
