House rules

Non-smoking property. Children are welcome. Extra guests require approval and incur extra guest fees. A mandatory mid-stay cleaning fee applies to stays of 14 nights or longer. Hualalai Resort access is optional, requires guest registration and is paid directly to the resort, separately from accommodation. Guests have one opportunity to opt in during a stay; the entire household must participate for at least two consecutive days without breaks. Published daily per-person charges use the $ symbol: Shoulder Season adults $80.00, children ages 5–13 $40.00; Peak Season adults $125.00, children ages 5–13 $63.00; Peak of Peak Season adults $185.00, children ages 5–13 $93.00; Festive Season adults $250.00, children ages 5–13 $125.00. Children age 4 and under are complimentary in every season. Shoulder Season dates: April 4–June 16, August 22–November 18 and November 28–December 17, 2027. Peak Season dates: January 4–February 11, February 20–March 11 and June 17–August 21, 2027. Peak of Peak dates: February 12–19, March 12–April 3 and November 19–27, 2027. Festive dates: December 18, 2027–January 3, 2028. During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, resort booking-window and chaise-lounge restrictions do not apply. During Peak of Peak Season, on-property reservation requests may be submitted through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before the resort access start date. A dedicated Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November for Festive reservations. During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests are available only on lawns and beaches, as directed by Pool Operations.

Getting there

A car is not necessary. Two four-seat golf carts are included for travel within the resort. Kailua-Kona is a short drive away; Kua Bay and Makalawena are nearby beaches. Resort access and amenities will be limited during the Chairman's Club Event, November 30–December 5, 2026, and the Mitsubishi Golf Tournament, January 16–24, 2027. Access is controlled by Hualalai Resort and may change; contact the resort directly for details. Extensive Kona and Kohala road closures during the IRONMAN Race on October 9, 2027 may affect driving routes.
