The house

The cottage has two queen bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area that opens through floor-to-ceiling glass doors onto a spacious rear deck overlooking greenery and visiting wildlife. The living area has air conditioning, a comfortable lounge, a 75-inch TV and a skylight. The chef-style kitchen is equipped with appliances. Outdoor dining seats four and can be extended for visiting guests.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, floor-to-ceiling built-in cupboards and a small desk with a chair. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, a ceiling fan, a pedestal tower fan and floor-to-ceiling built-in cupboards. Both beds have hotel-quality linen. The bathroom has a rain shower, a full soaking bath and a skylight. An internal laundry downstairs has a washer and dryer.

Professionally laundered linen and one bath towel per guest are provided. Starter tea, coffee, kitchen, bathroom and laundry essentials are supplied for arrival, rather than for the full stay. Other amenities include hot water, shampoo, children’s dinnerware, a high chair, stair gates and a carbon monoxide detector.

Free unrestricted street parking is available; the internal garage is not accessible to guests. A car is recommended because public transport options are limited. Suncorp Stadium is approximately 2.4 km away, a six-minute drive, and Brisbane CBD is approximately 6 km away, a 15-minute drive. A bus stop with services towards the CBD via Paddington is less than a ten-minute walk away. Train stations are in the neighbouring suburbs of Toowong, Auchenflower and Milton.
