You’re surrounded by old buildings, but in fact, this one is very new – and not only is its structure modern, but its interiors were renovated just a year ago. The family bathroom and ensuite are cleanly sophisticated, while you’ll find everything you need in the stylish kitchen. There are two bedrooms, a sunny twin, and the master double, where you can go to sleep gazing upon a wall of images from your hosts’ travels all around the world. Be it a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall or an hour watching the skateboarders rehearse their tricks, you’re surrounded by things to do both day and night. Walk down to Westminster and Big Ben, or follow the river the other way to Tate Modern and Borough Market.
